This is a closeup of one of the plaques that I found on the wall. It seems
that the Manhattan Chess Club used to have a yearly, friendly rivalry with
another club called the Franklin Chess Club and one of the 2 clubs used to
get this trophy as a result of winning the yearly competition between the
two clubs. Notice that the plaque itself has some chess pieces that are ingrained.
You can actually feel the pieces since they are more than just mere pictures
on the plaque. They actually feel like chess pieces made of bronze.
