This is one of the many plaques that I found hanging on the walls of the Manhattan Chess Club. The club has a very long and rich history.  Looking at all the awards and the numerous pictures that the club has collected over the many years of its existence, you can begin to gain a small sense of the actual history of this great chess club. It certainly added to the feeling of nostaglia that I sensed as I looked over all the artifacts of the club.
