This is a listing of just some of the famous U.S. players to have played
at the Manhattan Chess Club. This particular listing lists just previous members
of the Manhattan Chess Club who have won Championships at one point of another.
Notice that it lists Bobby Fischer as the U.S. Open champion under the name
Robert Fischer. Bobby Fischer won the U.S. Open Chess Championship for the
first time at the age of 15.
